This is her second book. I read the first - The Shifting Fog - while we were in Bali. While I enjoyed it, I did not consider it a keeper and traded it in at the Borneo Bar and Restaurant in Sanur.
This book has a similar feel, but a tighter structure. I think it may be better, but then, I am only 2/3 through. I really like the way she is weaving three stories together.
